What is the Security Code?

The Security Code is 3 or 4 digits, which is different from the Credit Card Number.

| VISA/MasterCard/JCB/Diners
|
| The Security Code is located on the back of a card, and is typically a separate group of 3 digits to the right of the signature strip.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| American Express
|
| On American Express cards, the Security Code is a printed, not embossed, group of four digits on the front towards the right or the left.
|
|
|
|
|
If you cannot find the Security Code or have any questions, please ask the credit card company or the bank.
